Privacy Policy

Codon Valuation connector · Effective October 11, 2026

This policy explains how Codon Valuation Advisors LLC ("Codon", "we") handles information when you use the Codon Valuation connector in Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant (the "connector"). It covers the connector only. Our separate engagement terms cover formal valuation work.

Information we collect

The connector receives only the inputs your AI assistant sends to its tools. These are numbers about a company's shares and finances, such as share counts, share prices, revenue, cash and debt, plus a sector and a choice of valuation type.

The tools do not ask for names, email addresses, company names or other personal information, and we do not request your conversation history, memory or files. If you include personal information in a request anyway, it is handled as described below.

Our hosting provider also records standard request metadata, such as IP address and time, as described under Storage and retention.

No account is needed, and we do not use cookies or tracking on the connector.

How we use it

We use the inputs only to calculate the result you asked for and send it back to your AI assistant. We do not use them for marketing, profiling, advertising or training models.

Storage and retention

Inputs are processed in memory and discarded once the response is sent. We do not save tool inputs or results.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records standard request metadata, such as IP address, time and response status, for security and reliability. These logs do not include tool inputs and are kept for a short period, no longer than 30 days.

Sharing

We do not sell or share connector inputs with anyone. The only service provider involved is our hosting provider, Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf.

Your AI assistant provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI) sends the inputs to us and receives the results. Their handling of your conversation is governed by their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You control what is sent: the connector only receives what you or your assistant choose to include. You can disconnect the connector at any time in your assistant's settings. Because we do not keep inputs, there is nothing stored to access or delete, but you can contact us with any privacy request.

UK and EU users

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, Codon Valuation Advisors LLC is the controller. The legal basis for processing is our legitimate interest in providing the service you request. You have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

Children

The connector is intended for business use and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
